Welcome to Conchur Tamaskans, the Pacific Northwest home for the "wolf-dog without the wolf".  We are pleased to be introducing this lovely breed into the United States.  The word Tamaska means ‘Mighty Wolf’ in North American Indian language.  These gentle dogs were bred to physically resemble a wolf but are not wolf-hybrids. Their temperament is akin to a companion dog with the structure and stamina of dogs in the working group.  The Tamaskan is sweet natured and good with children and small pets; this has made them a favourite with UK wolf lovers.
