Conchur Tamaskans is located in Beaverton, Oregon, just west of Portland.  We are a family based kennel.  Our dogs are a part of our family and raised with plenty of TLC and lots of interaction with people of all ages.  All of our dogs are health tested according to the requirements set forth by the Tamaskan Breeder's Association.  Only dogs whose health tests are acceptable are used for breeding.  Raising our puppies is a family affair.  My son Eric handles much of the exercise and outdoor activities.  My daughters Lizzy and Hayley are involved in puppy care from the early days of the ENS exercises to grooming, exercise and training our dogs.  Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home to ensure they received the proper foundation to make their transition to their new home as smooth as possible.  Evaluations of temperament, aptitude and structure begin at 6 weeks and continue until the puppies are ready to go to their new homes.  These evaluations give us a better idea of which puppy would be most suitable for prospective owners.

Beginning with our breeding program,  we raw feed all of our dogs and carefully monitor nutritional needs of the sire, dame and puppies.  We provide early neurological stimulation and puppy socialization and carefully screen applicants to ensure all puppies and potential puppy buyers are fully prepared for each other by the time they are ready to go to their new homes.  Ideal homes for Conchur Tamaskans will view their new Aatu Tamaskan puppy as a valued member of the family first and foremost.  We love to see pictures and hear of the successes of our pups after they leave home!
